In these general conditions LULIC Rent a car (refered to as «Lulic rent a car», «we» «us» «our» etc.) rents the vehicle (identified overleaf to you as a Renter and/or «driver» or «you» «your») subject to this Rental Agreement In making this rental you accept all the terms of the Rental Agreement and confirm that you will strictly comply with them.
The vehicle is supplied to you in good overall and operating condition complete with all necessary documents, parts and accessories and any complaints as to its conditions must be made to us immmediately, before driving away from the location.
You agree to return the vehicle with all documents, parts and accessories and in the same condition to us at the location and on the date and time as designated in the Rental Agreement. Vehicles are rented at a daily rate in accordance with the agreed charge, one day means any period of 24 hours from the start of the rental agreement. After the expiry of that time will be charged an extra day.
Driver’s under age of 23 are not allowed to use rent a car services. Car hire is approved to drivers that have a valid driver’s licence for at least two years.
Renter is expected to use the vehicle in a responsible manner overall and in particular not use or allow the vehicle to be used:
a) by any person other than Renter unless otherwise pre-authorised by our written permission
b) to carry persons or cargo for remuneration or for sub-renting
c) to tow or push any vehicle, trailer or other objectsa
d) for commercial transportation of passengers or goods
e) off road or on unsuitable roads, in race, test drives or contest
f) while Renter or any other driver of the vehicle or a passenger is over-tired, under the infljuence of alcohol, narcotics, or any other substance impairing one's consciousness or driver's ability to drive in any way or form
g) in contravention of any traffic or other regulations
h) if the vehicle is not in driving conditions or is if it is overloaded by passengers or luggage
All of the above stated limitations are valid for the usage of all rental vehicles and if they are not complied Lulic Rent a car is not held responsable for any loss or damage.
If canceled up to 3 days before, the client will be charged the amount of 50€, and if the client cancels the reservation within the last 3 days shall be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Settlement of account - Renter will settle the account to LULIC Rent a car within 8 days after receiving the invoice or in case of cash rental at the time of delivery of the car as agreed on the rental agreement: the time, mileage and other charges agreed upon in the rental agreement. The amount is to be paid in kunas in accordance with the valid tariff at the time this agreement has been made. If settlement of the invoice is not made in time, legal interest will be charged.
On line prices valid for reservations made a minimal 48 hours prior.
PRICE INCLUDE: car rental with unlimited mileage, insurance with deductible (CDW), theft protection (TP), VAT 25%
NOT INCLUDED: PAI (passanger insurance in car), WUG (additional insurance of tires, underside and glass), fuel, car wash
Franchise is the maximum amount that will be charged in case of damage hired. In the case of non-compliance with the provisions of the lease agreement, they can charge the total value of the vehicle.
In case the Renter requires a car for a longer period than the agreed rental period, he must advise LULIC Rent a car at least 24 hours prior to the termination of the agreed rental period. Lulic Rent a car reserves the right to take any legal action necessary to recover the vehicle.
Is not included in the rate. All cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel. Car is delivered to the Renter and needs to be returned with a full tank of fuel. All vehicles must be refueled upon return otherwise Lulic Rent a car reserves the right to charge a refuelling charge of 150 kuna plus any missing fuel according to the valid price list.
Repairs or replacements of vehicle parts have to be done only at the official dealer after previous written consent by Lulic Rent a car. Refund of expenses is made against the receipt of registered workshop that has effected the repair, but replaced parts have to be presented obligatorily. In case the repair was effected outside the registered workshop and the replaced parts are not returned, the expenses will not be refunded. In case any part of the vehicle or kit is exchanged or lost, indemnity amounting triple daily market price of the exchanged or lost part of the vehicle or kit will be charged.
All vehicles in the LULIC Rent a car fleet, are provided with third party liability coverage. Insurance companies cover damage caused by vehicles or cargo vehicles to the value of the insurance policy. The amount of the deductible franchise is the same for all types of vehicles and corresponds to 6 000 kn. In case of any damage for which the Renter himself is responsible, he is to settle the damage up to the full value of the car. The responsibility is waived by paying in advance an additional daily charge defined in the valid tariff.
If the customer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, if there are more passengers in the vehicle then stated, or in the event of negligence, insurance coverage will automatically become INVALID. CDW and/or SCDW does NOT cover; tire and wheel damage, interior damage, roof damage, damage to underside of car, damage to windows and windshield, fuel errors, loss or damage to car keys, vehicle documentation, registration plates and damage to child or baby seats. Renter is responsable for those damages.
CDW and TP (Purchase of liability for damage to the franchise and purchase liability for the theft of the franchise).
- by paying a daily fee for CDW and TP the responsibility of the customer is limited in case of damage done to the vehicle and vehicle theft in the amount of the deductible franchise of 6000,00 kn.
SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver)
- SCDW eliminates the amount of non-waivable excess, however both CDW and SCDW only apply if you have complied with all terms of the rental agreement. NOTE: Even if you have accepted SCDW you will still be liable for the full amount of any damages caused to the vehicle as a result of gross negligence. In any case, Police must be notified and an Accident Report Form completed.

The Renter is responsible for any loss or damage to the hired car if fire or theft is caused by wilful act or negligence or if the Renter has in any other way ignored the terms set forth in the agreements. By paying a daily surcharge, according the valid tariff, the User is provided coverage up to the full value of the vehicle and therefore may be charged only up to the amount of the non-waive able excess charge. Franchise deduction depends on the type of vehicle.
Any accident must immediately be reported to the nearest police station and to the Lulić Rent a car station that delivered the car. Renter needs to fill out a special form – accident report, supplied together with car documents, as well as his/her written statement describing the damage / accident, must be filled with complete details of the damage / accidents and must be sent immediately to the Lulić Rent a car office which delivered the car. Renter shall cooperate with Lulić Rent a car in the investigation and procedure of the respective accident. If the Renter does dot follow all the terms of this Article he is responsible and will be liable for all expenses.
Lulic rent a car shall not be liable for loss or damage to Renters property or property of any other person, stored or transported in or upon the hired car, service vehicle or business premises of Lulić Rent a car. By signing this agreement, the Renter specifically waives all claims for such loss or damage.
Renter is responsible for traffic violations that occur during the period of hire also after the rental. Any traffic violations can be charged through renter’s credit card. Final amount of the invoice is valid after the settlement of all accounts.
Rental agreement and standard terms and general are consistent to the legislation of Republic of Croatia and court in Zadar is exclusive place of juridistiction in case of litigation.
Satellite Navigation (GPS) is available on request for any vehicle with extra charge.
A seat for a baby / child is available on request for any vehicle with extra charge.
Additional driver is available on request for any vehicle with extra charges.
PAI- passanger insurance in car is available on request for any vehicle with extra charges.
WUG – additional insurance of tires, underside and glass is available on request for any vehicle with extra charges.
Fuel: Any given vehicle has a full tank of fuel, and as such shall be returned full. Fuel spent will be charged at cost, together with compensation for the service charge in the amount of 150kn (20€).
Reciept/Return vehicles before or after business hours is possible on request, and in agreement with Lulic Rent a car office with extra charges.
Airport fee and delivery to your adress are charged extra.
If you go outside the Croatian borders you will need an international ticket for the car insurance (International motor insurance card) or "green card".
*Hired vehicles are NOT ALLOWED in the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, Ukraine.

All payments will be done in Croatian currency. The amount that will be charged to your credit card is obtained through the conversion of prices from Euro into Croatian kuna according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank. When charging your credit card the same amount is converted into the currency of the country where the credit card was issued, according to the exchange rate of credit card companies. As a result of this conversion, there is a possibility of a slight difference compared to the original price stated on our website.
IN CASE OF A CAR DEFECT ABROAD, THE RENTER IS OBLIGED TO CONTACT Lulic rent a car FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPAIR. THE REPAIR CHARGE WILL BE REFUNDED UPON SUBMITTING THE ORIGINAL REPAIR BILL ISSUED BY AN AUTHORISED REPAIR SHOP AND PRESENTING THE REPLACED PART. WHEN CROSSING THE STATE BORDER, CUSTOM OFFICERS SHOULD EXAMINE AND VERIFY THE BILL.
